Cookie Policy

Effective date: October 15, 2026

Scope

This policy explains how ashworthprivate.com, operated by Ashworth Private Holdings LLC, uses cookies and similar browser storage. We treat a technology according to what it actually does, whatever it is called.

Our short answer

The website sets no cookies. It uses no analytics, no advertising or retargeting pixels, no social-media plugins, no embedded videos or maps and no fonts or scripts loaded from other companies' servers. The only browser storage it uses is strictly necessary for features you request.

What is stored in your browser

The website writes two items to your browser's local storage. They stay on your device, are not sent to our server and are not used to identify or track you.

  • ashworth:language — stores "en" or "es". Purpose: remember the language you chose with the EN/ES switch. It is written only when you choose a language. Duration: until you clear it. Category: strictly necessary (it delivers a choice you made).
  • ashworth:storage-notice — stores the date on which you closed the storage notice. Purpose: avoid showing you the notice again on every page. Duration: until you clear it. Category: strictly necessary.

Server-side records

These are not cookies, but you should know about them. Like any website, the hosting server keeps standard access and error logs, and the contact form keeps a one-way hash of the sender's IP address for about ten minutes to limit abuse. The Privacy Policy explains these records.

Why there is no consent banner with options

Consent is required for storage that is not strictly necessary. Because the website uses none, there is nothing optional to switch on or off, and we do not show categories for analytics or marketing that do not exist. The notice you see on your first visit informs you about the necessary storage described above.

Your choices

You can clear both items at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, which reopens the notice and offers a button to delete them, or through your browser's settings for site data. Clearing them only means the website will show English and the notice again on your next visit.

Changes

If we ever add a technology that is not strictly necessary, such as analytics, we will update this policy first and will not load it until you have given consent through a choice in which rejecting is as easy as accepting.
